This website (Site) is the property of the Global Security Card, a prepaid membership plan that provides security services and other comprehensive emergency and non-emergency travel services. These Terms and Conditions for use apply to the Site.

The Site is intended for use by adults. By using this Site, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions (Terms). If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Notification of Changes

We reserve the right to amend or terminate these Terms at any time. You may review the most current version of the Terms here at any time. Your continued use of the Site following any changes to these Terms means that you accept and agree to those changes.

Limitations of Use

The information on this Site provided only for non-commercial use for obtaining information about the Global Security Card, engaging in online activities related to membership, and obtaining information about the Global Security Cards products or services. You may not copy, distribute, download, publish, reproduce, reuse, or otherwise use the content or source code of this Site for public or commercial purposes without our express written consent.

Privacy

We respect and protect the privacy of our members and Site users, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Enrollment Information

While enrolling for Global Security Card membership, you agree to provide accurate, honest, up to date, and complete information about you, your family members, and/or your business as requested by the enrollment application.

Payment and Billing

Global Security Card membership may be purchased with an American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card or major debit card. By providing your credit card information, you authorize us to charge you an initial membership fee at our current rates as posted on the Site for the Global Security Card plan you request.

Limitation of Liability

Neither the Global Security Card, its affiliates nor any of its employees, agents, third-party content providers, member officers, manager or directors warrant that the services or the site will be uninterrupted or error free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from use of the services or the site, or as to the timeliness, sequence, accuracy, reliability, completeness or content of any information, or service, provided through the services and the site. The Global Security Card does not endorse products or services appearing on affiliates’ sites. Except as specifically provided in this agreement or where the law requires a different standard, you agree that the Global Security Card is not responsible for any loss, property damage or bodily injury, whether caused by access to or use of the services or the site.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Global Security Card, its officers, directors, managers, members, shareholders, predecessors, successors in interest, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates, harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against the Global Security Card by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.

Copyrights, Trademarks and Restrictions on Use

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, “Global Security Card,” the Global Security Card logo, button icons, images, source code, and audio/video clips is the property of the Global Security Card and is protected by United States copyright laws and international treaties. You may view or download copyrighted materials for your personal or internal business purposes only. You may not copy, display, distribute, transfer, link to, reproduce, license, frame, alter, create derivative works of or republish all or any portion of the Site for any commercial or public purpose without prior written consent from the Global Security Card.

We encourage you to contact us if you have additional questions or comments about these Terms, Global Security Card benefits or any aspect of our membership services.

Membership Rules & Exclusions

The Global Security Card is a membership plan that provides security assistance in emergency situations.

Membership Benefits

Benefits are available to members in the regions the customer subscribes to during the duration of the subscription.

Several plans of differing membership period and cost are available. All benefits and services are provided regardless of the plan chosen.

Member services are provided through the Global Security Card Emergency Call Center.

We do not reimburse members for expenses that are arranged or provided by other service providers.

Activation. Membership includes the full cost of covered benefits and services, without member deductible or co-pay.

Membership is available to individuals of any age; children under the age of 18 must be enrolled by their parent or legal guardian.

Membership activation requires payment in full, and an individual’s acceptance of these rules and plan exclusions.

We reserve the right to change membership plan rates at any time; current memberships will not be affected by any such rate change.

Membership becomes effective on the “start date” specified by the member during enrollment, and ceases on the “end date” specified during enrollment.

A member’s “home address” is the primary place of residence provided during enrollment or subsequently amended in writing or online by the member.

Members who change their home address during a membership period must update the information online or notify our Customer Service Center.

Membership may not be transferred.

Plan Eligibility: “Individual Plan” covers one person. “Family Plan” membership is restricted to spouses/domestic partners and their dependent children, including those of college age (if they are covered under domestic health or primary member still claims them as a dependent

Renewal: Individuals may renew membership on the Global Security Card website or by contacting our Customer Service Center. Current membership prices, as posted on the Global Security Card website, will apply to all plan renewals.

Cancellation: Members may provide written notification via email, letter or fax. Generally, membership is nonrefundable but dates may be changed.

The Global Security Card is solely responsible for the interpretation and application of the above rules and exclusions and reserves the right to change or amend these rules and exclusions at any time. All determinations by the Global Security Card shall be final and conclusive in each case.
